It hasn't rained here for about two months. We are in the middle of a 4 year drought, and it's not going to end anytime soon.

Today's rain has been just lovely ... but already the sun is out again.

It's a big, big problem here. Farmers are suiciding, and everything is just so brown and covered in dirt all the time from the dust storms.

And Australia is one of the countries who won't sign the Kyoto Agreement because our PM doesn't want to upset Bush!

Disastrous!! Sounds like the dustbowl days all over again. Bush, cripes why does every disaster have his fingerprints all over it.Grr.
